Kristi Alvarez stayed busy at her booth for Vintage Blue Moon. The dress pictured is a 1950s Joon Doris Fashion chiffon, $250.
Sharon Gile of Shenandoah, with an original display of Bissell Little Queen Play-size Sweepers, $495.
Despite the storm that caused chaos on set-up day and a dampened Friday's attendance, the Green Meets Green Expo, on Jan. 22-24, 2010 in Del Mar, Calif., was well received. One exhibit hall featured antiques and collectibles while the other sprouted vendors offering green home building products, sustainable clothing and other such items.

Show manager Jayne Skeff noted that the concept for the show went over well and they have the "green light" to continue it the future.

Vendors commented that while traffic was good on Saturday and Sunday, buying was on the lighter side overall. It looks like a good time was still had by all.

The next Calendar show will be the Wild West Expo, Apr. 16 -18, 2010. The show will be held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd., Del Mar, CA 92014. For show hours and information visit www.calendarshows.com.
