Show Review

Lance Jekel exhibits fine art and furniture.
Gary Linscott offered variety.
Bob Mosher's booth attracted young sports enthusiasts.
The Marin County Antique Show never fails to delight the collector, decorator or shopper and the 25th annual Christmas Show, held Dec. 12-13, 2009, not only lived up to expectations, but surpassed its reputation.

The dealers brought their very best and displayed their wares with great taste.

Fine art and furniture was found in the booth of Lance Jekel. There was vintage jewelry in the booth of Laura Eavery. Fine jewelry and antiques were present in Vyrnie Bannatyne's space and Gary Linscott displayed a wide variety of antiques and collectibles. Young sports collectors turned out and enjoyed the booth of Bob Mosher.

Most of the dealers at the show are long time participants and I consider them to be a family of dealers. They have a passion for collecting and readily share their expertise with attendees at the show. Comments I overheard about the show were "Most
beautiful I have seen" and "You can get an education about antiques at this show".

The Marin County Show takes place three times a year in San Rafael, Calif.: March 13-14, Aug. 21-22 and Dec. 11-12. Look for the Vintage Jewelry Show in Sausalito, Calif., on May 1-2 and Nov. 13-14. For information log on to www.goldengateshows.com.
