New Year Brings Back Vintage Fashion Show Santa Monica, Calif. - Vintage lovers are invited to attend the Vintage Fashion Expo in Santa Monica, Feb. 6-7, 2010. The Vintage Fashion Expo passes along a Happy New Year to all their vintage show dealers and vintage lovers.
"Times may be trying, but the Vintage Fashion Expos have grown and expanded due to the good value, great style and the enduring quality of the merchandise being sold," states a company press release.
The show is ideal for any collector of vintage or designer clothing, a stylist, designer, costumer for film or T.V., personal shopper, fashion student, DIY-er, goth or steampunk enthusiast, historical re-enactor or bride or groom to be. The focus will be fashions for Spring including all types of textiles, trims, jewelry, buttons, shoes, hats, gloves, scarves, perfume collectibles, hot '80s styles and men's and women's clothing of every era.
Recent attendees have included Rachel Zoe of "The Rachel Zoe Project", Christina Hendricks of "Mad Men" and Nate Berkus of "The Oprah Winfrey Show".
Jewelry author and lecturer, Leigh Leshner, will be on hand for jewelry appraisals. There will be vintage dance performances and lessons from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. each day.
The Santa Monica Vintage Fashion Expo will be held at the Civic Auditorium Pico & Main, in Santa Monica, Calif. Show hours are Saturday 10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. General admission is $10, good for both days. Early admission on Saturday from 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m is $20.
