Inspiration, dedication and location have certainly paid off for two partners who call themselves "car nuts." Chief Mechanic Ward Thompson, 68, teamed up with his nephew Sam Stockman, 33, to open Only Oldies Classic Auto, a unique automobile repair shop in Tempe, Ariz., specializing in pre-1972 models. Just last month they celebrated the second anniversary of their venture. At press time they were still deciding on a new address.
