Dan Kruse Classics, has announced the opportunity to own one of eighty-seven classic automobiles including vehicles from some of the world's most fabled personalities and historical events. The collection of respected businessman and philanthropist Dick Burdick will be offered exclusively on March 3, 2012 at the Central Texas Museum of Automotive History. For the first time ever, this extensive collection will go on the auction block giving collectors and enthusiasts of fine automotive collectibles and memorabilia a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. After 32 years, Burdick will be moving his facility to his hometown of San Marcos, Texas, giving way to the auction of these fine automobiles most without reserve.

The unprecedented sale will include historical automobiles like the rare 1903 Stanley Steamer Runabout to the fabled 1970 Rolls Royce Silver Show Long Wheel Base Limousine owned by the "man in black" himself, Johnny Cash or even a 1979 Chevrolet Corvair Coupe with only 14 actual miles on it.

"Anyone who is at all interested in the history of our country and its people will have a natural fascination with the automobile, not only for its mechanical development, but also for the men and women who had the foresight and ingenuity to begin its development. Just look at the impact the automobile has had on society, not only in our country but around the world. This is why we find the preservation of the automobile so important to this and future generations." said Dick Burdick, Founder.

The Central Texas Museum of Automotive History was founded by Dick Burdick in 1980 and was dedicated to the collection, restoration, education and preservation of historic automobiles, accessories and historical data.. Included in the sale will also be a large selection of memorabilia and collectibles. A full list of all the cars to be auctioned can be found at www.dankruseclassics.com

Previews will be Feb. 17 through Mar. 2, 2012. 10am - 5pm (Sundays 12 N - 5pm CST).
